Official Rules & Prize Disclosure (DRAFT — not for publication)

Open question: this product currently has no free/no-purchase method of entry — every round requires spending purchased Tokens. Many sweepstakes/contest statutes require a free Alternative Method of Entry unless the contest is legally classified as skill-predominant. This must be resolved with counsel per target state before launch.

Game Modes & Prize Structure

Flat-Rate Escalator

Round N costs $0.01 × N (Round 1 = $0.01 … Round 100 = $1.00). Maximum possible spend per player: $50.50. Prize pool is 60% of aggregate entry fees; 40% is retained as a platform fee. Paid places scale with the field: under 15 players pays the top 3 (50% / 30% / 20%), 15–39 the top 5, and 40+ roughly the top 10%. The schedule is shown before entry.

Streak Saver

Same per-round pricing, but a correct answer makes the next round free; only an incorrect answer charges the round fee.

Milestone Booster

Flat per-tier pricing (Bronze 10¢ / Silver 25¢ / Gold 50¢ / Platinum $1.00). The prize pool is funded solely by player entry fees (60% pool / 40% platform fee), the same as the other modes.

Sudden Death Overtime

Applies to all three modes: if two or more players are tied for a top-3 finish at Round 100, a live, shrinking-timer tiebreaker resolves it at a flat entry fee per question.

Streak Bonus ("3 the Hard Way")

Applies to all three modes: after three consecutive correct answers, and for every correct answer while that streak continues, the round's cost is credited back to the player's balance as non-withdrawable bonus tokens. This affects how far a player's funds carry them in a single tournament only — it does not add to, or draw from, the prize pool, and has no effect on withdrawable cash or payouts.
