Terms of Service (DRAFT — not for publication)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, depositing funds, or participating in any game on Penny Pincher (“the App,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least [COUNSEL: confirm 18 or 21] years old, and a legal resident of a jurisdiction where real-money skill contests of this type are permitted. Residents of certain jurisdictions are not eligible — see our state-restriction list [COUNSEL: insert approved state list].

3. The Token Wallet System

Each Token represents $0.01 USD of in-game value. Tokens are sold in bundles, and larger bundles include bonus Tokens: $1.00 = 100 Tokens, $5.00 = 600 Tokens, $10.00 = 1,400 Tokens, $20.00 = 3,000 Tokens. Tokens unlock trivia rounds and are non-refundable once a round is unlocked, win or lose.

4. Game Rules & Scoring

Each game is up to 100 progressively priced rounds. Scoring is determined solely by our servers — our server clock, not your device, is authoritative for all timing and cutoffs.

5. Prizes & Payouts

60% of the accumulated prize pool is distributed to the top 3 scorers (50% / 30% / 20%); the remainder is retained as a platform fee. Winnings may be subject to identity verification and tax reporting.

6. Ties & Sudden Death Overtime

Ties for a top-3 finish at Round 100 trigger a live tiebreaker under a shortened timer at a flat per-question fee, until the tie is resolved.
